Howdy, Fellow Datsuners!

Welcome to our first blog post. This space will serve as an archive of our work, adventures, and customer experiences as we continue to grow and support the Datsun community.

Many of you know we spent years operating out of a barn in Monroe, NC. While it worked well for a long time, we quickly outgrew the space and began searching for a new home. After nearly a year of looking, we toured our current location in December of 2025—and within the first minute of walking inside, we knew it was the right fit.

We’ve moved into a 4,000-square-foot facility equipped with HVAC, water, restrooms, a dedicated engine assembly room, a customer lounge, and designated areas for fabrication, restorations, and product development. We’ve expanded from a single lift to three, with room to add three more, allowing us to work more efficiently and continue delivering the level of quality we expect from our work.

This blog will be updated weekly. We’ll begin by sharing our backlog of nearly four years’ worth of customer vehicles—over 130 Datsuns that we brought back to life at our previous location—while also documenting the projects currently in the shop. Along the way, we’ll share our findings, customer stories, lessons learned, and the experiences that fuel our passion for working on these cars.

Our goal is to keep growing while offering as much support to the Datsun community as possible. Through years of data collection, troubleshooting, and hands-on experience—including adapting and integrating components from other manufacturers—we’ve built a strong knowledge base that we’re excited to share with those seeking guidance.

Follow along here, connect with us on social media, give us a call, or stop by the shop. We’re here to turn rust into lust and keep the memories alive.
